Does anything get uploaded?
No. Processing happens in your browser. Clearing the tool or leaving the page releases the working data. Downloads stay wherever you save them.
Create a code for a guest network
Enter the network name exactly as it appears in your Wi-Fi settings, including capitals and spaces. Choose the matching security type and enter the password. Tick Hidden network only if your router hides its network name. Create the code, then scan it with a phone before you print or share it.
Choose PNG or SVG for sharing
PNG is convenient for sending in a message or placing in a document. SVG keeps sharp edges when resized for a printed sign. Leave the white border around the QR code, use strong contrast and test the printed version at the size people will scan. Phone support for joining Wi-Fi from a QR code varies.
Does a Wi-Fi QR code hide the password?
No. The code contains the network details, including the password when one is required. Anyone who receives it can read those details and may join the network. Consider sharing a guest network instead of your main network. Clear details removes the entered values and generated result from this page; it does not delete copies you downloaded or shared.
Will the code expire?
Fixatoo creates a static code without a tracking redirect or expiry timer. It stops being useful when the encoded network details no longer match your router. Create a new code after changing the network name or password. WPA/WPA2 Personal, open networks and legacy WEP are supported; Enterprise and WPA3-only networks are not supported.
